Historically, slitting procedures are at the heart of Micel’s skills. We cut every one of our films to adjust them to countless applications and processes. Slitting, sheeting, numeric command cutting allow us to fulfil most of our customer’s requirements.

 Slitting
Slit of mother rolls (maximal width 2000mm) into tapes (minimal width 4mm) of any flexible material, papers or insulating boards, technical films.In cable’s manufacturing, tolerance on slitting is at +/- 0.5mm.

 Spooling
Our standards: Thickness from12 to 100µ, spooling’s width: 5 to 50mm +/- 0.5mm on a 300mm core, inner core diameter: 76mm, external: 400mm.In cable’s manufacturing, tolerance on slitting is at +/- 0.5mm.

An organisation adapted to medium and large series requirements (press able to bear from 5 to 10 tons, table size 500x 400mm).

Slitting process using numeric command via electronics plans (DXF files, AL files) ,for sheeting not exceeding 1200mm width, unlimited in length owing to its automatic unwinding system.
