FEP-PFA Films
Temperatures:
FEP: from -240°C to +205°C
PFA: from -240°C to +260°CThickness:
FEP: from 12.7µ to 2.29mm
PFA: from 12.5µ to 3.17mm
Principal properties on those films are:
o Inert plasticso Resistance to a wide variety of solvents.
o High resistance to liquid, gas, moisture, organic vacuums.
o High tensile strength and resistance to outdoor’s aggressions.
o Clear films, in thin thickness
o Thermo-formable, heat sealable
o Can be metalized, laminated with many different types of materials. It can also be used as hot melt adhesive (bond of substrates under high temperature, technical fabrics.) Available with or without treated surface for an enhanced adhesion.
Application examples:
o Aeronautic, release
o Chemical processo Electric, electronic
o Medical
o Decoration
PTFE Films
Temperature resistance: from -240°C to +270°C
Thickness: from 25µ to 6.25mm
This fluoro-polymer film is a soft material, easily formable, semi-crystalline, semi hazy and white. It has an outstanding resistance to most chemical products, a very low friction coefficient and stays stable under high temperatures (up to 315°C).
Main properties:
o Very low friction coefficient
o Outstanding resistance to weathering
o High thermal stabilityo Excellent chemical resistance
Application examples:
o Chemical process, low coefficient of friction.
o Medical
PCTFE Films
Temperature resistance: from -250°C to +150°C
Thickness: from 50µ to 100µ
PCTFE Films own excellent electro-technical and optical properties. They are transparent and are mainly used for applications needing barriers to:
o Moisture
o Chemical productso Graffiti’s PCTFE films may be bonded on different substrates. They are available in two layers : with a layer of EVA on request.
Application examples:
o Pharmaceutical packaging
o Lighting
