 Thin layers of silicium discharge technologies have changed. Discharge temperatures decreasing, it is now possible to product flexible photovoltaic modules with plastic subtracts using roll to roll process. Lighter and stronger than glass front-sheets, Fluor films (ETFE, FEP) aspire to protect silicium against weathering (moisture, UV, temperature, condensation…).The combination carbon-fluor, stable and nearly non polar, enables those films to a remarkable life time. Those films may be used plain or embossed (light isn’t reflected, silicium enhance the lighting diffusion).
